Church Historical Department collection of photographs of Brigham Young University, circa 1920s-1970s.

Collection contains photographs taken at and around the Brigham Young University campus from the 1920s through the 1970s. Many of the photographs were used in Latter-day Saint Church Magazines. The photographs document the changes on BYU campus through aerial photographs as well as photos of the various buildings constructed on campus through this time period. Several prominent Church prophets and apostles as well as important BYU faculty members can be seen in the photographs. There are also many photographs of students and their activities on campus. Many negatives of photographs are included. Some of the photographs are either in color or hand tinted.
